Foods related to Asthma

Please clarify what your findings have been on what foods are most recognized for negative respiratory reaction for asthma sufferers, e.g. no eggs, no dairy /cheese ; no wheat; no sugars other than fruits except tomatoes ; no preservatives . . . What's left to eat? Regards

True food allergy (to egg, dairy, wheat, fruit and sugar) doesn't play a significant role in triggering asthma. If you suspect a food allergy, then rather have an allergy test to confirm this before embarking on long-term food elimination. Many people go on unnecessary elimination diets which don't have any benefit and just increase dietary hardship. However, Preservatives such as sulphur dioxide (sulphites) and sodium benzoate may be implicated, so the only recommendation I would make for dietary changes would to follow an organic preservative-free  healthy diet plan.
