Monaco's royals came out in full force to celebrate the principality's national day on Saturday, 19 November.

And leading the pack of royal children were the adorable twins of their leader, Prince Albert, and his wife, Princess Charlene, who looked stunning in a chic black and white outfit.

Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turn eight on 10 December, stole the spotlight as they waved enthusiastically to the crowd from the window of the Pink Palace.

Gabby – as she’s known – looked adorable in a red dress coat and a black hat while her brother was his father’s mini-me in formal uniform.

In a sweet Instagram post, Charlene shared a photo of the two with little Jacques saluting.

“Happy National Day,” the former SA swimmer wrote alongside the image.

This year’s holiday offered even more cause to celebrate.

For the first time in three years it went ahead smoothly following disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and then the health concerns around Charlene, which saw her unable to attend last year and her twins holding up a poignant message saying, “We miss you Mommy”.

Charlene booked herself into a Swiss facility citing emotional and physical exhaustion following a nearly year-long battle with complications stemming from an ear, nose and throat infection.

This year, however, the entire royal family assembled for the morning-long ceremonies followed by the traditional waving-from-the-palace to the crowd gathered in the square.

While Jacques and Gabriella took centre stage, they were not the only royal children in attendance. Both of Charlotte Casiraghi’s sons were snapped in a rare public sighting.

Princess Caroline’s daughter was seen with her husband, Lebanese-French film producer Dimitri Rassam (41), and their young son, Balthazar (4). They were joined by her elder son, Raphaël Elmaleh (8), whose father is French comedian/actor Gad Elmaleh. He and Charlotte (36) split in 2015.

Caroline’s other grandchildren were also there.
