It’s a challenge but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Last year Hilary Swank (49) welcomed twins – Aya and Ohm – with husband Philip Schneider, and while the nights can be “hard”, she’s enjoying motherhood.
“I think that being a mother of twins, I never have had a singleton, so I don't know what that's like,” she told People.
“But I know this is also a season, and it too will pass, and I try and remind myself there's going to be a day when I’m like, ‘Oh, I’d love to wake up right now and just hold you.’ So just trying to hold on to that.”
The Million Dollar Baby star is currently promoting her new movie Ordinary Angels and made a dazzling appearance at the film’s New York premiere on Monday night.
The drama sees her cast as a struggling small-town hairdresser who discovers a new sense of purpose when she meets Ed (played by Alan Ritchson), a widower and father-of-two.

She starts out as a member of an alcoholism support group, but then cleans up her act to help the widower whose young daughter is waiting for a liver transplant.
During an appearance on the Today show ahead of the film’s premiere, she spoke about the special meanings behind the names of her twins, who are turning one in April.
“Aya was a Syrian refugee we met in Lebanon. So she was just this courageous, brave young girl full of life going through a really difficult time. My husband and I were like, she’s so beautiful, what a great name.”
As for her son, she said, “Ohm is considered the first universal sound and unites all people, and that sounds very fitting.”
On announcing her pregnancy on Good Morning America in October 2022, she called it a “total miracle”, revealing parenthood was something she’d always wanted.
Hilary married Philip, a businessman, in August 2018 after two years of dating. She was previously married to actor Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007.
