Jack. It’s a simple word, but for Chrissy Teigen it means the world – and now it’s indelibly printed on her skin.

Just a month after the loss of her baby, the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has her little one’s name inked on her right wrist in memory of him.

Chrissy and her husband, John Legend, who were expecting their third child together, revealed to the world last month that they had lost their baby after a pregnancy of 20 weeks.

While on a date night with her hubby recently, the 34-year-old shared a snippet of her new tatt.

“I have gotten used to my naturally frowny mouth. It’s kind of wild how much I laugh and smile and how it’s still frowny, no matter what lol,” she captioned the tweet which also featured a six-second clip of her in the bathroom showing off her gorgeous black feathered dress for the evening.

In recent weeks, Chrissy and John have received lots of support from online users, with many people sharing their experiences of losing a child.

“My 3 babies, my two daughters on each side of the baby we lost it’s been over a year and it’s like it was yesterday,” one user wrote sharing a pic of their tattoo.

“Beautiful! I decided to get a heart as part of my pregnancy loss healing – a reminder to ‘love myself’.  Lost our first at only 10 weeks pregnant in September. Thank you for sharing your miscarriage journey – you are not alone! Much love to you and your family,” another user commented.

It’s not only online that the couple have received support. Seven of their closest friends recently stepped up to the plate by donating blood in honour of baby Jack and the blood donation Chrissy received while in hospital.

One of the donors, Kimmie Kyees, shared a trio of posts on Instagram revealing the thoughtful gesture, which comes at a time when blood donations are low in America due to the pandemic.

A grateful Chrissy thanked her friends for their unwavering friendship and love.

“Phewwwww the tears. I’m overwhelmed by our circle of friends. The love I feel for each and every person in our circle actually makes me ache,” the cookbook author wrote.

“To do something like this for baby Jack is just . . . I dunno. Beautiful.”
