Cold-blooded, slippery intruders have invaded the Sebokeng police station in Gauteng, and cops are fearing for their lives. In addition to dealing with cat burglars and jailbirds, the officers and staff have to contend with snakes.

The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) has warned that their members will down tools and refuse to work if the station's management doesn't deal with the snakes.
