The Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has dismissed an application by three non-profit organisations seeking to stop the government from administering Covid-19 vaccines, due to a lack of sufficient evidence.
The non-profit organisations (NPOs) approached the court for a wide range of relief, including an order to stop the government from approving, procuring, distributing and administering the jab.
They also asked the court for an order compelling the government to conduct a joint investigation into the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.
