Eastern Cape ANC leader Kayise Tom has died after four months in intensive care at East London's Life St Dominic Hospital.
The Buffalo City Corporate Services MMC was shot four times at her Mdantsane home on 9 January in front of her daughter.
Tom was the Eastern Cape ANC's deputy regional chairperson.
