While there is a shortage of doctors and other health professionals, Anna Mokgokong is of the view that there are reasons why more nurses are needed.

If there is anything we have learnt from the wrath of the coronavirus, it is not only that "health is wealth", but that we need more nurses to care for our communities during and after the pandemic.

Our nurses have had to dig deep, confront their fears, and carry on working on the frontline with dedication and compassion.
