For your diary: Fred Mouton & Bazoo Art Exhibition

Visit the Oude Leeskamer in Stellenbosch for an art exhibition that honours the memory of celebrated South African illustrator, Fred Mouton (1947 – 2022).

“Bazoo Se Wonderwêreld” is centred around one of Fred’s characters, Bazoo the leopard tortoise, who lives with his friends in Fynbosville on Table Mountain.

Your children might have come across Bazoo on their reading journey, but even if they haven’t yet, the exhibition is sure to enthral. There will be interactive installations, a reading corner and a crafts section where kids can build characters from Bazoo’s world. Illustrations will be available to purchase.
