SAPS Swartkops detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 60-year-old woman who went missing on December 30, 2023.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that on December 29, 2023, at approximately 20:30, Ntombizanele Gamone left her home in Fusi Street, Wells Estate and told her niece she would be back soon.
Janse Van Rensburg said that according to information she went to her boyfriend’s house in Wells Estate and left his house at approximately 02:00 on December 30, but never returned home.
“She was reported missing on December 31, 2023, at SAPS Swartkops. Enquiries were made with family and friends whom she frequently visited, local hospitals and mortuaries were also visited with the family but they were unable to trace her,” said Janse Van Rensburg.
She further said that at the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a pink gown with white dots.
