A 30-year-old man's body washed ashore at Sardinia Bay today, April 18, with drowning suspected as the cause of death.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge said at about 07:20 the body of a 30-year-old male was discovered washed ashore onto rocks at Sardinia Bay.
"He was dressed in diving gear, and it is suspected that he drowned," he said.
Beetge said his name cannot be released yet as his next of kin have not been notified yet.
An inquest docket was opened and is being investigated by SAPS Walmer
