If you wear spectacles because you think they make you look more attractive, intelligent and trustworthy, you are not alone. In fact, you have the same thought process as some lawyers.

It's reported that some defence lawyers get their clients to wear glasses at trials. You may have also noticed that Johnny Depp often wore glasses during his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard – perhaps, he knew the positive effects they could have on perceptions of his trustworthiness.
