The fashion world is gearing up for one of the biggest events in the industry, the Met Gala 2024, often dubbed the Super Bowl of fashion, and News24 got an exclusive glimpse from E! Entertainment correspondent Zanna Rassi into what to expect on the red carpet, themes, behind-the-scenes preparation, and more.

The fashion event, known for its star-studded guest list, will take place on 6 May 2024. This year's theme, "Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion", promises to immerse guests in a world of rediscovery and revival.

According to Rassi, who is a fashion, beauty and entertainment journalist, the Gala theme will serve as a platform to showcase fashion's timeless treasures.
