Netflix's anime live-action adaptations have had a hit-and-miss track record, with more misses than hits. However, its newest series takes a different approach with Parasyte: The Grey - a popular Japanese manga from the late 80s and subsequent 2010s anime. With an existing live-action film series, this Korean adaptation brings a new story and characters to the Parasyte universe and, with it, a different approach to the themes of humanity and morality of the original.
