Jada Pinkett Smith recently debuted her newly shaved head and is also on a mission to cover her arm in tattoos — and she's already gotten to work on her sleeve, seemingly earlier than she had initially planned.

She shared that the idea was to have the sleeve completed by the time she reached sixty. However, she's realised that life is short.

She wrote on her Instagram page, "I always said I would get a sleeve at 60 but tomorrow is not promised. Soooo … I'm starting to build my sleeve now!"

The new inking depicts Mata Sita, a Hindu goddess and the heroine of the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, the goddess of sacrifice, purity, love and simplicity.

The other goddesses that the 'Girls Trip' star referenced in her caption include Arabian goddess Allat, African goddess Oshun and Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion.

The new tattoo is located above three small lotus tattoos that the 49-year-old actress, together with her daughter Willow and mother, Adrienne Banfield, had done by artist Dr Woo.

Jada and Adrienne both went for small designs sprouting downwards, while Willow decided on a larger flower that blooms upwards. The 20-year-old singer was the one who pitched the tattoo idea on their 'Red Table Talk' Facebook Live show.
