A growing number of South Africans hold the view that government's approach to regulating tobacco and other nicotine products is failing to curb consumption adequately, and it should be reconsidered.
This is according to a global survey commissioned by cigarette giant Philip Morris International (PMI) and conducted by US-based research firm Pavaddo. Among other things, the survey found that 83% of South Africans believed the government needed to rethink its approach to tobacco and nicotine products.
