A number of South African creatives will descend upon the Universal Music offices in Rosebank at 11am on Tuesday 30 April to embark on the Artists Against Non-Payment of Royalties Protest.
There has been an outcry by musicians and other artists against record company executives who they accuse of swindling them of their royalties. While the country chants 2024 is our 1994 in anticipation of the upcoming elections, musicians are singing the slogan of their protest, 2024 Cannot Be Business as Usual.
