Media personalities Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo and Ayanda Thabethe announced the addition of their bundles of joy to their fans on Thursday

After raising some speculations, Mdoda-Nxumalo finally took her fans out of their curiosity when she confirmed that she and her husband of four years were expecting their first child together.

In an Instagram post, the mother of twin boys wrote:

I'm not one to announce things, so I'm just gonna say: I'm going to need a bigger car, and nappies, lots and lots of nappies.

She announced the pregnancy on her fourth wedding anniversary day.

Last week, the presenter posted snaps of herself on her host duties, dressed in a black tight dress with her baby bump showing. These were pictures taken at the launch of Outlaws, a new show on Showmax. It was her first time attending an industry event with her recent pregnancy belly showing.

In June, Mdoda-Nxumalo hinted that she was pregnant and was hoping for a girl.

She wrote:

I know we said hot girl summer, but if God blesses me with a princess, I am leaving you behind. I am now telling you my prayers, no further questions.

It seems as though her dream for a baby girl will have to take a back seat for a little as it appears that she and hubby are expecting a baby boy as seen in the baby shower pictures she shared. Her close friends hosted her baby shower at a Sandton hotel.

In the same congratulatory breath, Thabethe announced that she and her controversial businessman boyfriend, Peter Matsimbe, welcomed their second child on Sunday.

She posted a picture taken inside a luxurious car, holding her newborn, with the caption:

If you think my hands are full, you should take a look at my heart. Praise be to Jesus Christ.

The co-owner of Quick Face makeup, who had her first-born son in March last year, announced her second pregnancy in July, and it was followed by pictures of her all-white baby shower attended by close friends and family.
