With South Africa approaching the polls in less than two weeks, the DA believes it has done more for Gauteng in the last five years than the governing party and has “evidence” to back its remarks.

DA Gauteng premier candidate Solly Msimanga mentioned this during a press conference on Tuesday, 14 May 2024, when he highlighted the DA caucus' “successes” achieved over the last five years, adding that the DA "outshined all other political parties".
