North West Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs MEC Gordon Kegakilwe has passed away after being admitted for Covid-19 coronavirus-related pneumonia at a hospital in Klerksdorp.

He was appointed to the post in May last year after the general elections.
