The Covid-19 vaccines roll out continued across countries in the Americas and Europe, with UK announcing with glee this week that a second vaccine – the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine – had been approved for use.

In South Africa, however, civil society organisations frustrated with government’s lack of transparency on its vaccine roll out plan are calling on the working class to band together and demand answers.
