Fifteen corpses at the Cecelia Makiwane Hospital in East London in the Eastern Cape had to be moved to the Mdantsane forensic department for safe storage, because of cable theft.
Provincial health spokesperson Mkhululi Ndamase said a preliminary investigation had shown that the thieves had dug a hole under the fence to enter the hospital.
