Simone Taylor, from Germany, spends about three hours painting her 15-cm long nails and reveals that she often struggles to get dressed because they’re so long, reports Unilad

To avoid any painful breakages, the student had to find new ways to write, type and even take showers. “My nails are too long to hold a pen properly now,” Simone says.

“I have exams at the moment and it’s hard to write, after one hour of writing my hands really hurt. On the computer I have to type using my knuckles.”

According to The Sun, the brunette beauty’s obsession with long nails began in 2014 after watching a few nail art tutorials on YouTube, which inspired her to grow her nails as long as the artists’.

And although she hadn’t planned growing her nails this long, she now refuses to cut them and is scared of a nail clipper.

To keep her nails strong and healthy, Simone uses nail hardener and cuticle oil every time she applies nail polish.

The teenager told Good Fullness there’s one question she frequently gets asked by her classmates.

“Funnily enough, a lot of people ask the toilet question when they see my nails for the first time,” she says.

"Showering is a bit more difficult. Sometimes my nails get caught in my hair, so I have to be extra careful."
