Tinnitus is an ever increasing problem and not just among people with hearing loss. It is estimated that there are around 250 million sufferers worldwide.

As a leading hearing aid manufacturer, Widex has vast experience dealing with the challenges of tinnitus. We have had proven success with managing the effects of tinnitus using hearing aids with the popular ZEN program, first introduced to the mind series of hearing aids in 2008, and we now offer this unique technology to everyone who faces the challenges of tinnitus.

Inspired by the results of ZEN, Widex introduces a new tinnitus device management called ZEN2GO. Like ZEN, it uses random, soothing harmonic tones to help tinnitus sufferers relax, reduce stress and manage the effects of their tinnitus. ZEN2GO requires no fitting or programming, meaning that hearing care professionals can literally have the device up and running very quickly. In addition, they can also use the time saved to offer professional counselling to clients – an important aspect in ensuring that they get the best out ZEN2GO.

ZEN2GO occupies a unique position in the market. According to Pernille Vestergaard, Project Manager at Widex, “it is one of the few tinnitus management devices on the market to offer ZEN tones that help in relaxation and help people with their tinnitus. What makes it even more special is that ZEN2GO uses technology that has already been proven to work on tinnitus sufferers.

“It is also very easy for the hearing care professional to fit and they can have it working in no time. So clients can just go in off the street and get professional help very quickly.”

“While there is no cure for tinnitus, we believe ZEN2GO can make a real difference to people’s lives. And that is what Widex always strives to do,” she says.
