Q
Best cough medicine for bronchitis coughs

My 5'2" friend Kathy just got over a bad attack of acute viral bronchitis. She told me she had a nasty bronchial cough spasm from this bronchitis and it was at its worst when she got up in the morning. She took Vicks Formula 44D cough syrup to quiet this nagging bronchitis cough. What would you choose if you ever came down with acute viral bronchitis as far as the cough medicine you take to stop your bronchitis cough?

Cough medicine is just for symptomatic relief, and a viral cough can stay for quite some time after you have had bronchitis.
