Q
Hi, I am using humalog 12 units 3 time a day and Lantus 26 units before sleep

since 6 months before i was using humulin 70/30.. Sir My age is 31 years and I have diabetes last 15 years. I want to re-shift to Humulin 70/30. Is it possible?

It will depend on whether you are Type 1 or 2. Using a mixed insulin like Humulin N (30/70) in a type 1 diabetic is quite hard, as you will generally not get good control, and it it is very difficult/impossible to adjust the insulin according to meals. the decision needs to be made in consultation with your doctor, who should be able to discuss the differences with you. A mixed insulin is sometimes used if lesser glucose control is deemed to be acceptable
