Q
Break down

I've been feeling low for about 12 months but the last 2 months I cry everyday, lock myself away from the world, even left 1 of my jobs because I just couldn't cope with going everyday. I've never ever had a suicidal thought but keep wondering if everyone would be better off if I wasn't around or feel like running away. My brain is telling me to scream out loud but I'm scared to in case I'm going mad.

Hello Sarah,
You're not going mad, and nobody on earth would be in any way better off if you weren't around : on the contrary.  You're describing a very typical Depression, a common and serious illness which responds well to proper treatment : please be kind to yourself and get the good treatment you so much deserve. See a doctor, maybe your GP, or see a psychiatrist privately, or through a provincial hospital, casualty, or clinic.  Before long, you should be feeling significantly better and finding fresh pleasure and satisfaction in life.
