Q
Can violent persistent coughing cause a concussion?

I’ve coughed so hard i’ve Passed out. Could chronic violent coughing over many years have the same effect as having multiple conclusion? How does it effect the brain over the years?

A
The answer is yes. Violent persistent coughing can cause you to pass out. This is called cough syncope. You will need to see a lung specialist to deal with this.
