Assess your arthritis risk
Answer the following six questions to determine if you have any of the factors that may put you at increased risk for developing arthritis.
Do you have a family member who suffers from arthritis?
Have you ever had a joint injury severe enough to put you in bed; to force you to use a cane, crutch or brace; or to require surgery?
Are you more than 20 kg overweight?
Have you ever had tuberculosis (TB) of a joint or septic arthritis - a joint infection that required an operation or prolonged treatment with an antibiotic?
Did you have hip problems that caused you to limp as a child?
Do you suffer from any of the following conditions: gout, psoriasis or inflammatory bowel disease?
