Can anybody be allergic to dust?

I am asking because i am curious, I searched it in google but it did not say...

The main allergen in household dust is the House Dust Mite which excretes faecal pellets that contain the allergen. Sand and silica in outdoor dust does not cause allergies, its the indoor dust containing dust mites than is the issue. Up to 20% of the general population may have a dust mite allergy resulting in eczema, asthma and sinus issues.
