Q
My son was diagnosed with a learning disorder

my 14 year old was diagnosed with a learning disorder, buy now I get so frustrated because everytime when you tell him not to do something, he does it and continuously, he will do it even if you shout. it seems like whatever I say he doesn't take me seriously. sometimes when reprimand him. he will just laugh at you. how do I handle the situation?

It is important to have a full assessment to make sure whether he has a comorbid oppositional defiant disorder, or other emotional disorder (e.g. depression) which may cause his "resistance". He might also not have the words to express his frustration. Please consider taking him to a psychologist for an assessment and therapy.
