The parents of Kiernan "AKA" Forbes have distanced themselves from a book that contains explosive allegations that the rapper was responsible for the death of his fiancé, Anele Tembe, which is expected to be released later this week.
The book, When Love Kills, by Melinda Ferguson, contains interviews with insiders including Tembe's father, Moses, who speaks of his regret at "not intervening more" in the couple's relationship.
In a statement late on Monday night, Forbes' parents, Tony and Lynn Forbes, said: "We are not in any way associated with Melinda Ferguson's book, and we do not endorse it. In the same breath we distance ourselves from the contents of her book."
