Angie Richardson responds to Ahmed Motala, a former UN investigator, writing that he intentionally and selectively cherry-picked and excluded evidence from the Pramila Patten report to suit his narrative.
Ahmed Motala, a former UN investigator, does a grave disservice to the victims of sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas militants by presenting the UN report into the sexual violence as falling short of the standards expected of UN human rights reports.
The report is based on a two-week fact-finding mission to Israel earlier this year by the UN Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, led by Pramila Patten.
