Back when Oom Jan said these prescient words to me in 2020, I didn't know I'd be repeating it to the new team at Vriesenhof in 2024, just a few days before last weekend's disastrous winds.

Back then, we were talking just a few weeks before being confined to our houses for the first time; for that first bout of Covid, how many disasters have we HAD in four short years?
