This week TikTok hosted several media organisations, the Electoral Commission (IEC) as well as partners, such as Africa Check, to reinforce its commitment to factual information and defending citizens from the scourge of disinformation. 

TikTok says it regularly removes millions of videos that do not comply with community standards, upholding its commitment to a platform that aims to, above all, entertain.
